Freeman Media is an experienced and savvy publisher of business news and information services for corporate, professional and large organisation readers.

It was established in 2002 by Matt Freeman, publishing business magazines and websites in the telecommunications and IT sectors including Telecommunications Review, The Line and m-net. These publications were sold in 2007 to Action Media based in Auckland.

It launched Energy News in 2008 - a subscription-based news and information website for the New Zealand energy sector.

Energy News has already carved out a niche as the trusted source of sector news and information.
