New Zealand Petroleum Exploration and Mining Permits Map are now available for purchase.

The April 2018 edition of the New Zealand Petroleum Exploration and Mining Permits Map features:

• Recent asset sales between OMV and Shell
• Sapura Energy's entry into New Zealand exploration
• Work programme commitments for all new and existing permits, such as seismic and drilling dates
• Up-to-date and high-level overview of all recent activity relating to both onshore and offshore permits and producing fields, including permit surrenders, changes of conditions, permit transfers and extensions of duration

There have been more than 40 permitting changes applied for or granted since the previous edition of the map in December 2017. This edition of the map also includes:

• Annual production figures for 2017
• Infrastructure including production stations, ports and large users
• Information about operating oil and gas companies, both publicly listed and privately owned

Map purchasers will receive a printed summary of all the changes since the December 2017 edition of the map.
