An opportunity has opened up for a business journalist to work on online legal publication Capital Letter.
Capital Letter provides a daily news and information service to an audience across the legal profession including those working in legal roles inside corporate and government organisations.
To win this role you will need to be confident interviewing leading executives and influencers. You do not necessarily need a background in law but past coverage of the sector and an understanding of its composition would be an advantage.
You will have the drive and initiative to develop a network of contacts to maintain a flow of exclusive articles and features for the website. The ability to produce accurate, proof-ready copy in a time-pressured environment will be important.
The business is very customer-focused and you will be required to initiate and attend regular subject visits. National travel is a core part of this role and an unrestricted driver's licence is essential. After-hours attendance at industry functions, conferences and other events is also required.
The successful candidate will need to provide a portfolio of articles.
