
The Energy Trader Forum is an exclusive, invite-only event for the energy trading and energy/carbon markets community. This community represents a fast-evolving and central part of the energy sector.
The purpose of the Energy Trader Forum is to bridge the current communication gap by facilitating education and networking for the mutual benefit and advancement of the community, energy markets, consumers and the industry as a whole.

Ticket types
Trader – energy or carbon traders
Energy and carbon traders from qualifying organisations, who are generation asset owners, independent retailers, gas producers, aggregators, forest owners.
Price: $295 REGISTER
General – non-traders
Regulators and non-trading staff from qualifying trading organisations e.g. regulatory manager, asset managers, in-house lawyers, executive management, business development managers, account managers. And attendees from organisations who are primarily suppliers to energy and carbon traders, consultants, advisors, trading technology/systems and information providers and other interested parties.
Price: $455 REGISTER
Consumer – C&I energy users
This category is for industrial, commercial and government organisations. In particular those individuals involved with the purchasing and trading of energy and carbon including procurement managers, energy managers, engineering managers, and executives.
Price: $225 REGISTER
Online – remote access
Join the forum remotely, watch the sessions live, and ask questions.

Attendance policy
The half day meeting held three times a year, brings together energy and carbon trading professionals, buyers, sellers, market participants, producers, regulators, large energy consumers, financial intermediaries and key service providers.
Attendance will be restricted to members and invited guests only, as approved by Freeman.
A registration fee will apply, as per the options detailed above.
Cancellations
Cancellations may be made up to 30 days before the event. A service charge of $75 + GST per registrant will apply.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for a refund. However, at Freeman’s discretion, the registration may be carried over to the next event, or a substitute delegate may attend in the original registrant’s place.

The Energy Trader Forum meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule:
When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received within their own organisation. This information is not to be distributed externally, nor is the identity, affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant.
No journalists from Energy News or any other media outlet will be present during the presentation and discussion elements of the forum.
